I was in Miami this day on a vacation in 2001. I will never forget the silent sky and the feeling of helplessness.

A lot of us remember exactly where we were or exactly what we were doing.

Me, too! My Dad and brother were away, and we just returned from NYC 3 weeks prior to this date. We were supposed to be in NYC Sept. 4-12, but changed our dates, last minute, because of my school schedule...

Despite that, beautiful pic, Miss Eve :)

Being away from home when this happened must have been terrifying. I can't imagine the plane ride back.

All of the specific memories people are posting are incredible and tragic and beautiful, all at once.

Hi Eve,

It all seemed so unreal hearing on the radio and then turning on the TV.
Thoughts are with those that have lost loved ones. It must be so hard for them.

Hugs
