I am a spring fan but I find plenty of beauty of this time of the year as well. I love the snow covered landscape, reading a good book and drinking hot chocolate next to the fire place. December is also the time of our most beautiful celebration: Christmas. Gifting is a lovely thing and each year I'm touched by the fact: Giving is much more pleasure than receiving. What do you love the most about this time of the year?

Ah Evi, such a lovely sentiment... To tell you what I love about this time of the year would make me run out of space...
I guess I love the true significance of the Christmas holiday; being with the ones I love.
I hope you are having alovely week,
PS: Love the collage!

Ooh eve, I love these images, they're really perfect for this time of year. Like you, I'm a lover of spring, it's certainly the most perfect season of them all. Right now though, it's so hard to find beauty in the cold, because it's just so wet, it really sucks! I'm holding out for a beautiful crisp frosty morning, then that's winter for me!

Have a fantatic week xoxo

Oh aside from the gifts, I love the family get togethers and the cool weather here in the Tropics.

I'm with ya sista, I couldn't stop staring out of the window the other day because the falling snow was so unbelievably beautiful.
Nice collage. xo

I agree, this time of year can be beautiful; decorations everywhere, then the frost mornings, clear skies (wishful!) and smatterings of snow.
Shame it has to be so cold though, I can't tolerate that part of winter!

I have to say it's finding and giving holiday gifts. I could live without the snow at this point in my life, but a light dusting and some hot chocolate I could deal with!

left an award for you on my blog :)

I love families and friends gather around to spend time with one another and take the time to be grateful for what they have been given in life. Besides that I am thankful to God and I love the snow and all of the loveliness that you just showed above! :)

I agree completely with your statement. It feels way better to give than to receive. I find it even more rewarding giving to someone who you know can't give you something. I love your description of winter. Hot chocolate and Christmas movies here I come! :)

Such a beautiful blog! My favorite aspects of the season are the parties, warm fuzzy clothes and cold weather!

I love autumn. I do love December. It's the month of Christmas, plus my birthday is this month as well. I hope your week got off to a great start. Cheers!

This is a lovely inspiration board! It makes me stop to think that this cold weather may not be so bad :)

I love the traditions that this time of year brings -- fun times with my Mom, drives and cozy movie watching by the fire with my David, getting our Christmas tree -- everything that makes Christmas special...and then, there's the snow. I adore the quiet and serenity of snow...

You've chosen some beautiful images here, and they compliment the page design well. Snow does not reach its frosty fingertips all the way to San Diego, but we do enjoy chilly nights. And chilly nights mean people are cuddling—one the best activities ever conceived.

I just want to jump into this inspiration board! Rather I'll go jump outside into the mounds of snow accumulating.

Gorgeous! I love the slower pace (shopping aside) of staying in and cooking and indulging in lots of comfort food that I would normally never eat. And seeing my friends!
Hope you are well Evi!

Doesn't winter look just wonderful like this?

Besides the cold there are so many beautiful things about winter, especially around this Holiday Season.

I'm happy you agree with me.

Thanks for coming, cheers: Evi
