I believe in miracles because my grand daughter IS one, literally. She was born without her intestines attached, and after numerous surgeries and 3 years later, she is a healthy normal child.
As for me, I would love to believe in fairy tales, but I don't think Cute Hubby is going to turn into any Knight in Shining armor. I DO believe in true love though, even if it needs work, and has its ups & downs.
Right now, it is snowing lightly outside, and looks very much like a fairy tale. If that's what I get, then I'll take it gladly.
This was actually a thought provoking post for me. :)

I am completely reasonable so of course I buy into the concept of miracles but I do understand that one has to often work very hard for them to happen consistently with predictability.

Dreams - I look at that distinction as a visual of my goals happening in the future. I totally buy into that concept - I see dreams as a vision of my goals that I place in my mind over and over and over to the point where it shows up in my dreams.

Magic? - That reminds me of a quote from a famous magician - "people would not think I was magical if people knew how hard I had to work on my magic tricks"

we can find out a lot from mythology, i dont think it is a trivial subject at all and can be taken quite seriously. i like to read about it and study it and get lost in daydreams about it, even at age 23!
