I hope you had a wonderful celebration. Unfortunately I had to take an emergency break cause my computer just decided to give up. I lost important pieces of work, my picture library is a mess and I spent the entire week trying to solve the problem. So far there is loss and pain but I know it's not the end of the world and I hope I'll be over on this soon...

After careful consideration I've decided not to attend on this fabulous event and not to go for this fabulous dress. However, I really hope you'll be able to get your hands on the pieces you like and I can't wait to hear your shopping experiences from all over the world...and dear ladies, please be nice to each other in the stores.
Instead of the crowded shops don't you wish you could shop this collection under these circumstances...?

When it comes to glasses I'm crazy for the cat eye style. Just found this lovely shop on Etsy which has various selection of fabulous vintage cat eye eyeglasses and I just ordered this one below.
They are from the 50s or 60s and marked Selecta France and I just can't wait to have them...meow meow...

I think these sessions produced extraordinarily beautiful and unique images of Marilyn. The Last Sitting is the title of a book and photo series of Marilyn Monroe by photographer Bert Stern. The photo shoot was commissioned by Vogue magazine in late June 1962, taking place over three daily sessions, just six weeks before she died...

I've mentioned in an earlier post that I've attended some photography courses during the summer. Well, I'm still learning and practicing and happy to share some of my shots here on Absolutely Ladylike with You. I took these pictures in August and this is my super gorgeous and very talented choreographer friend who helped me a lot with modeling for me the last couple of months, so I can become a real professional one day...Thank You Darling.

My favorite of this season is this cute and very feminine puff-shouldered wool blazer along with this elegant dusty-pink suede strappy sandals. I also love the knitted wool poncho and this pretty '60s-inspired purple crepe dress.
